Mission

Vocational School of Technical Sciences, Department of Machine and Metal Technologies The mission of our Machine Programme is to train technical staff who can use contemporary technology, have professional knowledge and skills, are productive, adhere to ethical values, are sensitive to the environment, and have an awareness of occupational health and safety. In this direction, to train individuals who are equipped to meet the needs of the sector, to support innovative thinking and to strengthen the cooperation between the industry and the university.

Vision

The vision of our Mechanical Engineering Programme is to be a nationally and internationally recognised programme, a pioneer in the field of technical staff education, and a programme that educates graduates who are sought after and preferred in the sector. With its advanced technology-based education infrastructure and innovative approaches, it aims to provide a student-centred learning environment that is open to continuous development and directs the industrial sector. In this context, the programme also prioritises developing projects that contribute to society and supporting scientific studies.
