The program duration is two years and includes both theoretical and practical components. In the 1st and 2nd semesters, courses include general subjects such as Turkish Language, Atatürk’s Principles and History of Reforms, Foreign Language, and Mathematics, as well as foundational courses like Technical Drawing, Material Technology, Machine Elements, Basic Manufacturing Processes, and Strength of Materials.
In the 3rd and 4th semesters, the curriculum focuses on professional specialization with key courses such as CNC Technology, Manufacturing Processes, Computer-Aided Drawing, Hydraulic Pneumatics, Occupational Safety, and Welding Technology.

Course Catalog
Dual Major / Minor Programs
Dual Major Program: This program allows students to earn a bachelor's degree in another field of interest in addition to their main program. Students complete the courses of both programs and receive diplomas in both fields.
Minor Program: The Minor Program enables students to take specific courses in a field outside their primary program. Upon completion, students receive an official certificate, which does not equate to a second bachelor's degree.

Exchange Programs
Exchange programs offer students the opportunity to study at another university, either domestically or internationally, for a specific period. Through these programs, students can experience different cultures, improve their language skills, and gain international academic exposure. Purpose and Objectives of the Department / Program:
The Machinery Program aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills in technical areas such as machine design, manufacturing, maintenance and repair. The program aims to ensure that students follow technological developments in the sector and become individuals who are competent to apply these developments in business life. At the same time, it also prioritizes providing creative problem solving, teamwork and technical communication skills.
Current Status and Future of the Department / Program:
The Machinery Program is equipped with modern laboratory and workshop facilities and is supported by experienced academic staff in the sector. The current education-training process has a structure that aims to combine theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Future plans include continuous development of technological infrastructure, establishment of stronger collaborations with industry and the goal of becoming an internationally accredited program. It is also planned to develop projects aimed at providing advanced expertise in digital production technologies, automation and sustainable manufacturing.
